Everyone is “flipping out” about the flipped classroom, but how much research has actually been done on how much better students learn with a flipped classroom? We're taking an unbiased view (well, as unbiased as someone can actually be) at flipped learning, looking at all of the good, AND the bad. We’ll also talk about strategies to make your flipped classroom more effective. Although listed as a high school physics topic, this lesson is relevant to anyone thinking about starting (or already has started) a flipped classroom.

We will discuss ideas of how to write, implement, track, and analyze students' self-assessment of their learning and compare the data with formative and summative assessments results.
